Cremation Isn’t the Final Decision. It’s The Beginning of One
It is a fact that more and more families are choosing cremation. But after cremation, one question remains:
What should happen next?
For most that answer is unclear – an urn sits on a shelf or is hidden in a closet, decisions are delayed, and a meaningful farewell is never fully realized.
Complete, Meaningful Final Resting Experience
Every Cremation Air service includes:
A dignified unattended aerial scattering over U.S. Coastal Waters - 3 nautical miles from your chosen location
You work with your funeral director to choose the right spot for your loved one. Our user-friendly order system allows you to pinpoint the exact spot that was so special - and we’ll perform the scattering offshore from that exact location.
Chain-of-custody automated communication from start to finish
From the time your oder is placed, you will receive automatic emailed updates every step of the way. Your loved one’s journey is our top priority and it’s important that you are in the know, the entire time.
EPA scattering submission for coastal water scatterings
You don’t have to lift a finger. We will submit the scattering information to the EPA for you within 30-days.
GPS coordinate documentation on a personalized scattering certificate
Easier than an urn, our personalized scattering certificate will have all the important information about your loved one’s scattering from name, to date of scattering, to their specific GPS coordinates for final memorialization.
A custom memorialization video
Work with your director to upload as many as 10 images for your custom memorialization video. You will receive a link to the video after the scattering is completed which you can share with your entire family.
Who is This For?
Families Seeking Something
More Than Tradition
Not every family wants an urn on a mantle. Some have different needs for the remembrance of a loved one. Cremation Air is an alternative solution to traditional burial or urns. We provide a farewell worthy of an extraordinary life lived.
The Right Place Isn’t Chosen. It’s Remembered.
Explore meaningful coastal waters and private land locations where families choose to honor the lives and memories of those they love.
How to Offer Cremation Air
Easy to introduce. Memorable to offer. Allow your team to be flexible when discussing options after cremation. Arm them with the opportunity to offer aerial scattering
- It’s a unique and beautiful way to say goodbye from the sky
- It’s full FAA-compliant and handled with care from start to finish
- A memorial video and certificate with GPS coordinates, time and date is free as part of the service
- All you need to do is select a location; we will handle the rest
Private Land Scattering, Thoughtfully Coordinated
Some Places Aren’t On The Map - They’re Personal
While many families are drawn to the ocean or water, others feel a deep connection to a place that can’t be defined by a coastline. Cremation Air can help coordinate aerial scattering over approved private land, working closely with your funeral director and land owner to ensure proper authorization.
With proper landowner permission, and carefully vetted and approved locations, we are committed to bringing our professional coastal scattering services inland to your favorite places. Many of the locations we receive requests from are Golf Courses, Ranches, Farmland, Recreational Hunting Grounds and Clubs, and Timberlands. These privately owned locations are ideal because of their sheer size giving us plenty of opportunity to scatter over the right spot for you.
Right Location for The Right Loved One
Let your family choose the location. We will perform the service three nautical miles off the coast. Here are a few examples of locations families can choose to have their loved ones memorialized forever:
- The Gulf
- The Atlantic Coast - From Florida to Maine
- The Great Lakes
Coming Soon: The Pacific Coast!
Compassionate Closure
Cremation Air transforms cremation from something incomplete….into something intentional, personal, and deeply meaningful.
